1. One table, one Jesus—but different heart positions.
Read: John 13:21–27, 34–38
At the Last Supper, Judas, John, and Peter were all physically close to Jesus but spiritually in very different places. Which one do you most relate to right now—and why? What clues in your own life help you notice when you’re drifting, clinging close, or stumbling but still trying?
2. The difference between Judas and Peter wasn’t failure—it was community.
Read: Luke 22:31–32
Both failed. One isolated, one stayed connected. How does community actually help restoration happen in real life—not just spiritually, but emotionally and practically? What would “staying at the table” look like for you in this season?
3. Drift usually doesn’t announce itself.
Read: Hebrews 2:1
Judas didn’t wake up one day far from Jesus—he drifted there slowly. What are some subtle signs of spiritual drift you’ve seen in your own life or in our culture? What helps you catch drift early before distance turns into isolation?
4. “Closer” doesn’t just affect faith—it regulates life.
Read: Psalm 16:11 or John 15:4–5
The message talked about closeness to Christ, His church, and His mission as something that stabilizes us—like skin-to-skin with a newborn. Where have you noticed your “systems” (peace, hope, joy, courage) feel most regulated or restored? What practices or people tend to move you closer instead of farther away?
1. Nehemiah didn't just notice broken walls. He took responsiblity for rebuilding them. What broken areas do you feel God calling you to rebuild right now?
2. Why is focus so important when God calls us to build something meaningful?
3. What does it look like practically to buidl with conviction instead of convenience?
