SC Fall Connect_Groups

2021 FALL SEASON AUG 29 - CHRISTMAS

Connect Groups are the heartbeat of our church. Register to host or join a group any time! CGs are where healthy community is fostered, best friends are formed, and growth is stirred.

From book club groups, virtual groups, newlywed groups, date night groups, workout groups, mommy and me groups, singles groups, groups unpacking the Sunday sermon together, groups that go thrifting together... There is a group just for you!

If you’ve gone through Growth Track and attended a CG in the past, we’d love for you to host a group! This will help us make more room for others to experience the life giving community CGs have brought you.

Don’t wait! Join the club this fall!

CG's In Your Own Words

Daniel

“There was a guy in our linemen group that dreads his birthday because of so much pain that has defined it, family hurt, etc. He shared this on a Tuesday at our group and on his birthday, that Friday, 8 or so guys rallied around him to celebrate him! With tears in his eyes, he said it was the most incredible birthday he has ever had and he felt so seen and loved. It was unbelievable!”

Jessica

“Words will never be able to express how thankful I am for my connect group. It was the most life giving, inspiring, challenging and fun group I’ve ever been apart of. As a newly married couple and new owners of shoreline, it’s exactly what we needed for both ourselves and our marriage. I am beyond thankful for the group and would encourage anyone who is unsure about joining to dive in! You will most likely meet life long friends like we did!”

Heather

“Connect groups have been such an unexpected blessing in my life and in so many others. I came from a very traditional Catholic background where talking about God or the sermon wasn’t really something we did, more so went to church and repeat the same thing next week. I was very intimidated when I attended my first connect group, but soon realized that these guys and girls around me were also feeling lost, out of control, far from God, you name it along with all the happy emotions of course, but it was eye-opening. I eventually began to open up during some of the meetings and that’s when I really felt like I wasn’t just sitting on the sidelines watching, but actively participating and wanting to become who God was calling me to be. Because of the willingness to get uncomfortable, just for a moment, helped encourage me to serve, give, and stop only living life for myself.”
